Frank E Lamothe, III
Frank Lamothe is a lawyer’s lawyer. He has earned a reputation as the best of the best through his superior trial skills. Frank Lamothe has over thirty years experience as a trial lawyer. His areas of trial practice include personal injury, and death litigation, and business litigation. He has tried cases in both state and federal courts throughout Louisiana, as well in other states including Arizona and Florida. He practices throughout the New Orleans metropolitan area, as well as the entire state of Louisiana on a regular basis.
He is a skilled trial lawyer. At a Masters in Trial Demonstration in which he was conducting a cross-examination of a witness, a trial consultant who observed him stated:
“You are no-nonsense, business-like, precise courtroom practitioner who asks questions in a straight-forward and rapid manner. You relentlessly draw out a witness until you secure all information needed or required and you methodically pursue your agenda regardless of irritation, interruption or pressure."
Mr. Lamothe has taught Trial Advocacy at Tulane University School of Law, the Paul F. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University, and the School of Law at Loyola University in New Orleans.
Mr. Lamothe is a member of the bars of Louisiana, Texas and Colorado. He has tried cases in other states, including Arizona and Florida.
Mr. Lamothe is also a member of the Litigation Counsel of America.
He has lectured extensively and is the author of numerous articles relating to personal injury and death litigation and business litigation.
In his leisure time he likes to ride motorcycles on road and off road, and compete in off-road trail racing events.
Mr. Lamothe believes in giving back to the community. He presently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Christwood Retirement Community, and also serves on its’ Executive Committee.
Mr. Lamothe has recently been appointed 2009-10 Louisiana Association for Justice Board of Governors.
He is the father of three children.
