Rusty Savoie
Rusty Savoie has over 12 years experience in litigation and adversarial proceedings. He has litigated cases in both State and Federal Courts in Louisiana. His areas of trial practice include business litigation and tort litigation. He has litigated Class Action Matters. He has also litigated Jones Act and Maritime claims. He has also handled State Workers’ Compensation and Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims.
Mr. Savoie received his joint law degree and Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University of New Orleans in 1996.
Prior to that, he worked for the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. and the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Savoie has lectured on a number of areas of trial practice including real estate litigation and business litigation.
He is member of the State Bar of Louisiana and the Covington Bar Association.
Mr. Savoie lives in Covington, Louisiana and is the father of three children. He serves as an Officer and Director of the Covington Food Bank and is a volunteer with the Southeast Louisiana Legal Services Pro Bono Project, the St. Tammany Association for Retarded Citizens, Crimefighters and St. Anselm Church in Madisonville, Louisiana. Mr. Savoie is also a Den Leader with his local Boy Scout troop.
